This website is operated by the owner of SavoringSurprises, a small business based in the United States. This site displays publicly available product listings from that business and links visitors to complete any purchase through our official shop.

2. Definitions
For clarity, the following terms are used throughout this policy:
- "The Site" means this website.
- "We," "Us," and "Our" mean the owner of SavoringSurprises, who operates this Site.
- "You" means the individual visiting or using the Site.
- "Personal Data" means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- "Usage Data" means information collected automatically by the technical operation of a website, such as an IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages requested.
3. Information We Collect
This website is a static informational site. We do not directly collect, store, or process any Personal Data about visitors. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not collect payment information (all purchases are completed on our official shop platform), and we do not run our own analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising networks.
However, like nearly all websites, certain limited Usage Data is handled automatically by the services that host and deliver this site, as described in the following sections. This typically includes your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you request.
4. Hosting & Server Logs
This site is served by a third-party web hosting provider. As a standard part of delivering any website, our hosting provider may automatically record server log data such as your IP address, browser type and version, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This information is collected by the hosting provider for security, reliability, and abuse-prevention purposes, and we do not use it to personally identify you or build a profile about you.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
This site does not set its own cookies and does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. Your browser may cache static files (HTML, CSS, images) locally as a normal part of web browsing to speed up future visits. You can clear or block this at any time through your browser settings.
6. Third-Party Services
We keep third-party requests to a minimum. Fonts used on this site are self-hosted on our own server, so no font provider receives your information. The one third-party connection your browser makes is:
- Product image hosting — product images shown on this site are loaded from our shop platform's image servers. Loading these images may expose your IP address to that provider in the same way as visiting their website directly.
We do not control the data practices of this third party and encourage you to review its privacy policy.
7. Product Listing Data
Product listing information displayed on this site (images, titles, prices) is sourced from the shop owner's own small business using a product API. This data is about our products — not about you — and is fetched and managed solely by the shop owner. It is not shared with or sold to any third party. All purchases are completed through our official shop platform, which has its own privacy policy governing any information you provide during checkout.
To help the owner create marketing copy for social media posts, the owner's associated content tools may process this product listing text (such as titles and descriptions) through a third-party AI service, Google's Gemini API. Only product information is sent for this purpose — never any visitor or personal data — and the results are used solely to draft the owner's own promotional content.
8. Pinterest API — Disclosure
This website and its associated tools use the Pinterest API to help the shop owner publish their own content to their own Pinterest account. This site and its tools are not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc.
Specifically, the Pinterest API is used to:
- Authenticate the shop owner's Pinterest account using OAuth 2.0. The owner's Pinterest password is never seen or stored by this application.
- Read the owner's Pinterest boards (
boards:readscope) solely so the owner can choose which of their own boards a Pin should be published to. - Read the owner's own existing Pins (
pins:readscope) solely to reference the owner's prior content and avoid creating duplicates. This is limited to the owner's own account; the app never reads other users' Pins, public search results, trends, or analytics. - Create Pins (
pins:writescope) — each Pin is an image generated from one of the owner's own product listings, linking back to that listing on the owner's shop. - Schedule those Pins to publish on the owner's behalf at a chosen time.
9. Pinterest-Derived Data
The only Pinterest-derived data this application handles is:
- The owner's OAuth access token — used solely to authenticate API calls on the owner's behalf.
- The owner's board names and IDs — used solely to let the owner select a destination board when creating a Pin.
Both are stored locally on the owner's device only. They are used exclusively to post the owner's own Pins to the owner's own account. This data is never sold, shared, redistributed, or transferred to any third party under any circumstances.
We do not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise make available any Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties.
10. Data Retention
Because we do not directly collect Personal Data through this site, we retain no visitor profiles, contact lists, or usage histories of our own. Any Usage Data recorded in server logs is retained by our hosting provider according to its own retention schedule and then deleted. The Pinterest access token and board information described above are retained locally on the owner's device only for as long as needed to publish the owner's own Pins, and can be revoked or deleted by the owner at any time.
11. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data involved in operating this site. The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and any Pinterest credentials are stored locally on the owner's own device rather than on a public server. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data protection laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). These may include the right to:
- Request access to the Personal Data relating to you that we hold;
- Request correction or deletion of that information;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
Because this is a static informational site that does not directly collect Personal Data, in most cases we will hold little or no personal information about you. To the extent any applies, the legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the email below and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (for example, within 45 days under the CCPA).
13. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have never done so and have no plans to. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing for you to opt out of, but you are always welcome to contact us with any questions.
14. Legal Disclosure
We may disclose limited information if we are required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, respond to a valid request by public authorities, protect and defend our rights or property, or protect the safety of the public. Because we hold very little visitor data, such disclosures would in practice be limited to whatever information the situation requires and we are able to provide.
15. International Visitors
This site is operated in the United States and served through hosting and content providers that may store or process technical data (such as server logs) in the United States or other countries. By using this site, you understand that any such limited technical information may be processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those in your country.
16. Third-Party Links
This site links to and loads content from external services, including Pinterest (pinterest.com) and our shop platform. These platforms have their own privacy policies and data practices, which we encourage you to review:
We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party site, and this policy applies only to this Site.
17. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
18. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of this site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
19. Contact Us
